We all have to wait in lines, at the grocery store, the doctor’s offices, the ticket booth, etc. If you see a line formed where you are going, you should take you place at the end of the line and wait patiently.
- Do not complain, grumble or loudly sigh as that indicates your displeasure. Everyone has to wait, so there’s no sense in being miserable and making everyone around you miserable.
- You should also not have loud or boisterous conversations, or laugh loudly, either with your companions or on your cell phone while waiting in line.
- Do not cut in line, but if it is truly an emergency, you may politely request to move up.
- Move up as the line moves up.
